What are we?

  • A group of parents donating a small amount of time and effort to improve the
    experience of our kids at their school.


What do we do?

  • Sponsor cultural events

  • Organize events such as Family Fun Night, Harvest Fair, Breakfast with Santa.

  • Maintain our school playground

  • Hold fundraisers such as Book Fairs, Holiday Fair, plant sale (to help purchase library books, help pay for class field trips, supplement classroom activities)


What’s the commitment?

  • Invest as little or as much time and effort as you’re willing.


Why do this?

  • For our children

  • To get connected to our school and your kids think you’re cool.

We encourage all parents with children attending Sunnyside School to join the PTO.
(To be an officer, chairperson, or member of a committee,  

you must be a paid member of the PTO.)
